Embassy of Slovenian and EAC Slovenian Business Club unite Slovenian businesses in Kosovo

The Ambassador of Slovenia, Mrs. Minca Benedejčič and the Director of the Slovenian Business Club, Mr. Bajram Fusha organized an informal meeting for representatives of Slovenian businesses in Kosovo and representatives of Government Institutions in order to exchange experiences and create a favorable environment for businesses in Kosovo.

Ambassador Benedejčič, in her introductory speech, emphasized the traditionally good cooperation and the high level of relations between Slovenia and Kosovo. She expressed satisfaction with the regular political dialogue and multifaceted cooperation between Slovenia and Kosovo. She highlighted the prominent role given to the Western Balkans region by the current Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, and mentioned the EU-Western Balkans summit organized by Slovenia on 6 October.

As we know Kosovars and Slovenes have an emotional connection since ancient times, adding to this the quality of Slovenian products, the correctness in doing business, the culture and dedication in business that make Slovenian products attractive and in demand in the market and our tables, said Mr. Fusha.

In this warm environment, toast was raised for successful businessmen and the support given by Ambassador Benedejčič.

The Slovenian Business Club is continuously building, maintaining and developing the network of Slovenian-Kosovar businesses with this year's activities such as the visits of Kosovar businesses to the fairs AGRA 2021 Gornja Radgona and MOS 2021 Celje.

The doors of the Slovenian Business Club in Prishtina are always open for companies that have interests to connect with the Slovenian market, and through it as a gateway to the European market.
